I loved the first pair but they stopped working after about 18 months of daily use.
This is the second pair of Beatsx that I’ve owned. This is really annoying because my headphones make a ring when they disconnect and reconnect. Bluetooth Device Constantly Disconnecting My Bluetooth headphones (BeatsX) keep disconnecting from my Surface Laptop 2 whenever they are not in use for 5 seconds, then they immediately reconnect. To change the battery - open the lid, disconnect the cable terminals, replace the battery, reconnect the cable terminals and close the lid again. AirBuddy comes with one battery included though you'll be able to order additional batteries should you wish to do so. Tell MBP to disconnect and after an important lag it disconnects and then snap connects back and I have to click disconnect for the second time (it always works like this) and then after the lag it disconnects and then I can manually click connect and that's when it works. My iPhone was in my pocket at the time these disconnects happened. The earbuds reconnected quickly, but time will tell if this is an ongoing issue or just a fluke. UPDATE: 9/18/19 - used these at the gym today and while there was no issue with the fit, the right earbud did disconnect from my iPhone 8 Plus three times. The XB400’s charge through USB-C, which is a bonus, and have 15 hour battery life, which is another bonus. They lack the BeatsX proprietary Lightning charge port and W1 chip that makes them pair magically with Apple products, but that’s only important if you only use Apple products. 
Select the Bluetooth® device you want to connect, and then enter the passkey to complete the pairing process. To connect a Bluetooth® device, you must first pair the Bluetooth® device with your system. Unfortunately, they're discontinued so you're probably better off skipping these.
The BeatsX are a good option if you don't want true wireless earbuds. They might not have the highest clarity out of all the headphones we've tested, but that's something they make up for with supreme comfort. The BeatsX are a solid pair of in-ear headphones.
